تواترت تصريحات عضو مجلس النواب الأمريكي توماس تانكريدو ممثل الدائرة السادسة عن ولاية كولورادو بمجلس النواب الأمريكي الذي هدد فيه باحتمال ضرب مكة المكرمة في حال تعرض أمريكا لهجمات نووية ممن سماهم بالإرهابيين ؛ كما صرح مؤخرا بأنه لن يقدم أي اعتذار حول تلك التصريحات .
